Infosys Founder Nandan Nilekani Spoke at SAIS on May 9
Nandan Nilekani, founder and co-chairman of the board of directors of Infosys Technologies Limited, spoke at SAIS about "Imagining India" on Friday, May 9 as part of the W. P. Carey Global Leader Lecture Series. The event also commemorated the launch of the Minno and Mohinder Sambhi Endowment for India Studies at the school.

SAIS Hosted Conference on 21st Century U.S.-Korea Alliance on May 6
The U.S.-Korea Institute at SAIS and The Hwaejeong Peace Foundation of the Dong-A-Ilbo hosted a conference, "Forging a 21st Century U.S.-Korea Aliance: Identifying Obstacles and Opportunities," on Tuesday, May 6. This day-long conference featured three keynote speakers: Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-N.Y.), who spoke on "A Congressional Perspective on U.S.-Korea Relations;" Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.), who spoke on "Gauging the Six-Party Talks;" and Jay Lefkowitz, special envoy for human rights in North Korea for the U.S. State Department, who spoke on "Human Rights in U.S. Policy Toward North Korea."
